Christ Church Somerset West supports missions and missionaries in various ways. The list of whom we support is long and varied. From local, extending throughout SA, to neighbouring countries Namibia, Zambia and Mozambique, to overseas UK, Japan, China and New Zealand. From teachers, to evangelists, to church plants, to children’s work. To facilitate this support in a real and practical manner, each month every mission and missionary is contacted to obtain their latest prayer needs and to learn how The Lord is using and blessing the work they are doing. All this up to date information is placed into a prayer booklet. We meet each month to pray for all the missions and missionaries, presenting their current requests, thanking The Lord for answered prayers and enjoying the blessings of knowing that we are part the global extension of Gods kingdom
