BREAKING NEWS FROM BETHLEHEM!
On Sunday evening, 7 December, we held our annual Family Carols service. This year it was “Breaking News from Bethlehem”, presenting the Christmas story through a live news bulletin on +CNN (Christ Church News Network). The ‘news desk’ was manned by news anchors ‘Frankie’ and ‘Myrrh’, with ‘Producer Goldie’ managing the floor. Our Junior Youth were fantastic as they took on the roles of either ‘field reporters on the scene’ or the nativity characters. Our church music team led us in singing carols together, and we’re so grateful to the Lord for their efforts and talents. Lindo gave a talk from John chapter 1, highlighting that Jesus is the Word who came into the world for us.
Everyone enjoyed the evening immensely, and we pray that this Family Carols service will have a big impact on our families this Christmas, and in the hearts of our children. May Jesus be glorified by both young and old in our church this Christmas!
