EVENING SERVICE START-UP
On Sunday, 1 March, we re-launched our 6:30pm service after a two-year hiatus.
Ninety people came along to the service, which is wonderfully encouraging! We hope to reach more of our neighbourhood by running an evening service, as well as those people who can’t make it to church on Sunday mornings.
Our Youth Band, headed up by Jachin Klaasen, lead us in the songs, and our first sermon series for these evenings is the Gospel of Mark.
Part of the service also includes a slot called “Did You Know?” in which we will be taking a look an interesting and helpful fact about each book of the Bible and how it fits into the greater context of Scripture.
After the service we serve delicious hot chocolate in the church to encourage further fellowship before folk head home.
