PROGRAMME
During Easter week, there will be several gatherings, and we warmly encourage you to join as many as you can. Together, we will reflect on and celebrate all that the Lord has done for us.

MISSION

Time: 7.30-8.30pm
Guest Speaker: Rev. Dr Mervyn Eloff
Coffee/Tea & Hot Cross Buns will be served from 7.00pm.
A kids programme will be provided so that parents can attend these Easter Mission talks.

Mervyn is the Rector-emeritus of St James Church, Kenilworth. After completing undergraduate degrees in Science and Theology, he earned a DTh in New Testament Studies from the University of Stellenbosch.
Before joining the staff at St James Church, Mervyn served in churches in London, Stellenbosch, and Cape Town, and as a senior lecturer and vice-Principal at George Whitefield College, our REACH SA theological training college in Muizenberg.
Mervyn has contributed to Built on the Rock: Studies in Matthew’s Gospel (Eerdmans), The Proclamation Bible, and has authored Teaching 1,2, 3 John, and Teaching James (PT Resources – Christian Focus). His doctoral thesis is titled From the Exile to the Christ: Exile, Restoration and the Theology of Matthew’s Gospel.
Mervyn serves as Associate Director (Africa) for the Charles Simeon Trust, which provides practical training to preach and teach God’s Word better through workshops around the world.

Join us at church as we spend time together in prayer preparing our hearts for Easter.
FELLOWSHIP MEAL:
Date: Thursday 02 April
Time: 5.30pm for 6.00pm
We'll be having a lamb Spit Braai together here at Christ Church for young and old. Crockery and cutlery will be provided. Bring your own cool drinks and picnic blanket. There will be no cost but donations are welcome. Booking is essential!

LAST SUPPER SERVICE:
Date: Thursday 02 April
Time: 7.30-8.30pm
We'll be having a Communion Service to remember and reflect upon our Lord's last night before his death. This service will be followed by a prayer time for those who are able to stay, from 8.30-9.00pm.
GOOD FRIDAY SERVICE:
Date: Friday 03 April
Time: 9.30am (one service only)
There will be Children's Church for 2 year olds to Grade 5.
Coffee/Tea & Hot Cross Buns will be served after the service.
