BAPTISM OF ELLENA & BRUCE LORD
On Sunday evening, 21 June, Michael and Talitha Lord brought their children, Ellena and Bruce, for baptism. It was a joyous occasion, with many friends and family attending the service to witness and celebrate with the Lords alongside us.
Child baptism is a physical sign of a spiritual reality, which is that these children are now part of God’s covenant family, because they have been born to Christian parents. Ellena and Bruce’s baptism recognises this covenant reality, the privilege of being part of the household of faith.
Pray with us for Ellena and Bruce, that as they grow and mature, they will believe and trust in Jesus Christ, claim for themselves God’s promise of eternal life, and know and love Jesus as their Lord and Saviour always. Pray for Michael and Talitha, that God would give them grace and wisdom to continue raising Ellena and Bruce in his ways.
