BAPTISMS OF HANNAH PIENAAR & NOAH-JOHN PIETERSE
On Sunday, 28 June, we had the privilege of witnessing the baptism of two children at our 10.30am service.
Grant and Bryony Pienaar brought their daughter Hannah for baptism. Ulrich and Jané Pieterse brought their son Noah-John for baptism.
These child baptisms are a physical sign of a spiritual reality, which is that Hannah and Noah-John are now part of God’s covenant family, because they have both been born to Christian parents. These baptisms recognise this covenant reality, the privilege of being part of the household of faith.
Pray with us for both sets of parents, Grant and Bryony, and Ulrich and Jané. Let us pray for the Lord’s protection on these families, and for his continuous strength and wisdom to the parents as they raise their children in God’s good ways. And let us pray that both Hannah and Noah-John will come to know and love the Lord Jesus for themselves, acknowledging him has their personal Saviour and King.
