WOMEN’S MINISTRY

BLOOM

BLOOM is the name of a ministry geared particularly to serving the women of +CSW. The goal is to bring women together, to build and grow relationships: Relationships with each other as we seek to know and love each other better;  and our relationship with God as we seek to grow in our knowledge and love of Him.  In this way we hope to BLOOM in fruitful service and encouragement of each other through life’s journey. We aim to host events throughout the year to meet this goal – these could be social events (for example, pottery painting or a picnic), or growth events which would include Bible teaching around a specific topic (for example forgiveness, God’s love, comparison and identity and so forth).

LADIES BIBLE STUDY

This Fellowship Group meets on Thursday evenings for coffee, fellowship, Bible Study, prayer and thanksgiving. We are grateful to God for bringing us together to grow in our knowledge and love of God and to strengthen the bonds of Christian fellowship and friendship. We exist to glorify God and encourage one another to be faithful followers of Jesus through all the ups and downs of life.

We meet at 14 Mayfair Road, SW, at the home of Wendy Stone. If you would like to join us or find out more, please contact Carol Ebden.

MOMS AND TOTS

Moms & Tots is a fellowship group that was formed to cater for the moms at +CSW that have babies or young children. Having a baby is often a very vulnerable time for a woman, as they can often feel isolated, overwhelmed and struggle to find time for bible reading. The goal of this ministry is to provide a safe place for moms to attend with their children, be taught the Word of God, as well as enjoy fellowship with other moms in a similar season to them.

Moms & Tots meets every Thursday morning at 9:30am at the church. For more details or to be added to the Whatsapp group, please contact Marie Smit.

GOLDEN OLDIES

This is fellowship group for ladies 75yrs and older. We study the Word of God and experience how the Lord encourages us through His word. Join us for a time of fellowship together and sumptuous eats along with a delicious cup of tea or coffee.

Golden Oldies meet on the 3rd Tuesday of every month at the Christ Church meeting hall. For more information please contact Di Gilbert.
